Multi-Rate Capable
InfoShip is capable of handling many different rate charts.  Different origins can be handled through different shippers.  Within the same origin (same shipper), a carrier can have "book" rates and custom rates.  Custom rates can be setup as a discount off the book rate or as an entirely independent rate.  Both rates can be returned during a rating operation.  In addition, InfoShip handles the ability to "dual-rate" a shipment.  Dual-rating can spread beyond book and custom rates.  An example might be rating UPS Ground but shipping UPS Second Day Air; both rates could then be returned to the host system.
