The course descriptions below are merely
examples of topics that can be covered. CLS will adjust our

InfoShip End User Training
Training typically covers functions such as
workstation startup, logging into InfoShip, shipping boxes by
various carriers, using scales, scanners and printers, using
carriers’ special services, using various freight terms,
entering carton content information, entering international
shipment information, changing the Ship Date (the date the
shipment being processed will be tendered to the carrier) for a
shipment or for a carrier, voiding transactions, searching
transactions, printing/reprinting labels and bills of lading,
closing out a carrier, printing carrier reports, basic
peripheral device troubleshooting, and workstation shutdown.
System Administration/Technical Training
Typically covers many of the topics covered in End User
Training, plus InfoShip’s architecture, InfoShip database
administration, InfoShip Security, configuring carriers,
configuring workstations, configuring peripheral devices,
configuring documents, configuring toolbar buttons, configuring
the display, configuring the keyboard, adding fields to
InfoShip, how to use Integration Manager to implement business
rules using Behaviors, Mappings, PropertySets, custom Dialogs,
and VBScripts, the DMS Pipeline, use of Profiles, use of Debug
and Trace to troubleshoot problems, importing and exporting
system configurations, system optimization techniques, do’s and
don’ts of system administration. |
