If you are taking advantage of multiple carriers to get the best shipping rates (based on dimensions and weight), then processing packages through a standalone shipping workstation in high-volume shipping operations (hundreds or thousands of packages per day) will actually slow down parcel processing.

While a multicarrier workstation may help streamline the process, you still stand to lose valuable time scanning or manually entering data into a shipping screen. Instead, you can opt for a Black Box way: the “no-shipping screen” shipping method for streamlining your shipping process.
